Q. 103. What do we pray for in the third petition?

A. In the third petition, which is, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven, we pray that God, by his grace, would make us able and willing to know, obey, and submit to his will in all things,[218] as the angels do in heaven.[219]

[218] Psalm 19:14. Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer. (시19:14 나의 반석이시요 나의 구속자이신 여호와여 내 입의 말과 마음의 묵상이 주의 앞에 열납되기를 원하나이다 

Psalm 119. Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways. Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently. O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes! Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments. I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly, etc. (시119:편 다양하게 보여지는 하나님의 말씀

1 Thessalonians 5:23. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (살전5:23평강의 하나님이 친히 너희로 온전히 거룩하게 하시고 또 너희 온 영과 혼과 몸이 우리 주 예수 그리스도 강림하실 때에 흠없게 보전되기를 원하노라  

Hebrews 13:20-21. Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (히13:20-21 양의 큰 목자이신 우리 주 예수를 영원한 언약의 피로 죽은 자 가운데서 이끌어 내신 평강의 하나님이 모든 선한 일에 너희를 온전케 하사 자기 뜻을 행하게 하시고 그 앞에 즐거운 것을 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 우리 속에 이루시기를 원하노라 영광이 그에게 세세무궁토록 있을찌어다 아멘  

[219] Psalm 103:20-21. Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure. (시103:20-21 능력이 있어 여호와의 말씀을 이루며 그 말씀의 소리를 듣는 너희 천사여 여호와를 송축하라 여호와를 봉사하여 그 뜻을 행하는 너희 모든 천군이여 여호와를 송축하라 

Hebrews 1:14. Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? (히1:14모든 천사들은 부리는 영으로서 구원 얻을 후사들을 위하여 섬기라고 보내심이 아니뇨 


문103. 주기도문의 세째 기도에 우리가 무엇을 구하는가 ?

답. 세째 기도에 뜻이 하늘에서 이룬 것 같이 땅에서도 이루어지이다 함은, 하나님께서 은혜를 베푸시사 우리로 하여금 능히 감심(甘心)으로 범사에 그를 의지를 알고 순종하며, 복종하기를 하늘에서 천사들이 행함과 같이 하게 하옵시기를 구하는 것이다.

 '뜻이 하늘에서 이루어진 것 같이 땅에서도 이루어지이다

      (1) 하나님의 은혜 베푸시기를 (히 12:28 )

      (2) 감심(甘心)으로 하나님의 뜻을 순종하기를 (시 119:35 , 마 26:39 )

      (3) 천사같이 순종하기를 (시 103:20,23 , 단 7:10 , 빌 1:9-11 )
