Q. 8. How doth God execute his decrees?

A. God executeth his decrees in the works of creation and providence.[23]


[23] 창조와 섭리하신 일로

Psalm 148:8. Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling his word: (시148:8 불과 우박과 눈과 안개와 그 말씀을 좇는 광풍이며

Isaiah 40:26. Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth. (사40:26 너희는 눈을 높이 들어 누가 이 모든 것을 창조하였나 보라 주께서는 수효대로 만상을 이끌어 내시고 각각 그 이름을 부르시나니 그의 권세가 크고 그의 능력이 강하므로 하나도 빠짐이 없느니라

Daniel 4:35. And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? (단4:35 땅의 모든 거민을 없는 것 같이 여기시며 하늘의 군사에게든지 땅의 거민에게든지 그는 자기 뜻대로 행하시나니 누가 그의 손을 금하든지 혹시 이르기를 네가 무엇을 하느냐 할 자가 없도다

Acts 4:24-28. And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is: Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things? The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ. For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done. (행4:24-28 저희가 듣고 일심으로 하나님께 소리를 높여 가로되 대주재여 천지와 바다와 그 가운데 만유를 지은 이시요 또 주의 종 우리 조상 다윗의 입을 의탁하사 성령으로 말씀하시기를 어찌하여 열방이 분노하며 족속들이 허사를 경영하였는고 세상의 군왕들이 나서며 관원들이 함께 모여 주와 그 그리스도를 대적하도다 하신 이로소이다 과연 헤롯과 본디오 빌라도는 이방인과 이스라엘 백성과 합동하여 하나님의 기름부으신 거룩한 종 예수를 거스려 하나님의 권능과 뜻대로 이루려고 예정하신 그것을 행하려고 이 성에 모였나이다 

Revelation 4:11. Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. (계4:11 우리 주 하나님이여 영광과 존귀와 능력을 받으시는 것이 합당하오니 주께서 만물을 지으신지라 만물이 주의 뜻대로 있었고 또 지으심을 받았나이다 하더라


문8.  하나님께서 그 예정을 어떻게 이루시는가 ?

답. 하나님께서 그 예정을 이루시는 것은 창조와 섭리하신 일로 하신다.
