Q. 65. What is forbidden in the fifth commandment?
A. The fifth commandment forbiddeth the neglecting of, or doing anything against, the honor and duty which belongeth to everyone in their several places and relations.[153]
[153] Matthew 15:4-6. For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. Romans 13:8. Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

답. 제 오 계명에 금하는 것은 각 사람에게 그 속한 지위와 인륜 관계를 따라 마땅히 높일 것과 행할 일을 하게 하지 아니하는 것이나 막는 것이다.
(1) 상하 분멸치 않는 것 (마 15:4-6 )
(2) 마땅히 높일 것과 행할 일 (롬 13:7,8 )
